Background

What is the Better Man Conference?

The Better Man Conference is a three-day event with resources, support, and community to engage men as allies in creating an inclusive culture. Participants will gain perspectives on best practices for allies, including healthy masculinity and breakout sessions to help learn how to communicate and collaborate in as social norms shift and demand an updated playbook for building balanced gender dynamics.

Why Focus on Men?

Men are often not comfortable participating in diversity events because they are unsure of their role or concerned of saying something wrong. BMC is a starting place for men without shame or blame to:

Understand healthy masculinity traits for inclusive leadership
Gain language and context to engage in discussions
Leverage power and position to elevate women and minorities

Who Should Attend?

Our content will focus on the engagement of men and the unique male perspective in inclusion and hierarchy. However, individuals who do not identify as males are invited to gain perspective on engaging men as allies.
Executives, Leaders, Emerging Leaders, Change Makers
Human Resources, Diversity Staff and Council Leaders
Learners and Leaders seeking workforce inclusion
